This is FineMolds' flagship new release for 2024 - a newly tooled 1/48 Zero, specifically the A6M5 Model 52 mid produuction variant built by Mitsubishi.
FineMolds newly-tooled A6M5 Zero Model 52 makes extensive use of slide-mold technology on the forward fuselage, empennage and vertical tail, and continues their tradition of having very petitely formed details with superb engineering and fit to boot.
A new feature is the optional canopy parts with the glazing (i.e., the clear parts) molded separately from the canopy and windshield framing.
